The 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will be held at the Canton Fair Complex in Pazhou, Guangzhou, from October 15 to November 4, 2026, across three phases. Due to high foot traffic and various traffic control measures in the vicinity of the complex, the following travel information is provided for exhibitors, attendees, business visitors, and organized groups.
一、Exhibition Phases
Phase 1: October 15–19 – Electronics and home appliances, industrial automation, new energy, service robots, etc.
Phase 2: October 23–27 – Building materials and furniture, household goods, gifts and decorations, fashion accessories, etc.
Phase 3: October 31–November 4 – Health and leisure, toys, maternity and infant products, fashion, food, etc.
二、Metro: The Most Reliable Way to Reach the Venue
You can reach the Canton Fair Complex via Metro Line 8 or Line 11.
(一) Operating Hours
Line 8: Toward Jiaoxin, first train 6:12–6:14, last train 23:02–23:03; toward Wanshengwei, first train 6:21–6:23, last train 23:52–23:54.
Line 11 (Pazhou Station): Toward Yuancun, first train 6:02, last train 21:47 (full route) / 23:02 (terminating at Longtan); toward Chisha, first train 6:11, last train 22:53 (full route) / 0:08 the following day (terminating at Chisha).
(二) Transfer Information
Transfers between Line 8 (Exit A) and Line 11 (Exit F) at Pazhou Station are facilitated via an outdoor covered walkway. Please use the designated “blue transfer gates.” Transfers completed within 30 minutes are treated as in-station transfers, ensuring no additional fare is charged. (III) Exits
For Zones A and D: Take Metro Line 8 to Xingangdong Station, Exit A.
For Zone B: Take Metro Line 8 to Pazhou Station, Exit A or B; or take Metro Line 11 to Pazhou Station, Exit E or F.
For Zone C: Take Metro Line 8 to Pazhou Station, Exit C; upon exiting, walk westward for approximately 300 meters to reach the destination.
三、Public Buses and Special Shuttle Services (Convenient for travel to/from hotels and commercial districts)
(一) Customized Bus Services
During the Canton Fair, customized bus services are available from the exhibition complex toward Liuhua Road. The boarding area is located on Zhanchang Middle Road. The route passes through areas including Tianhe Road, Huanshi Road, and Jiefang North Road, providing convenient access to various hotels and commercial districts in the city. Service hours are 15:00–19:00 for the first four days of each phase, and 13:00–17:00 on the fifth day.
(二) Regular Public Buses
Service frequency will be increased for bus routes 137, 229, 239, 262, 304, 461, 582, 762, B7, and others.
(三) Autonomous Bus Services
A free loop service connects the Shangri-La Hotel, Pazhou Metro Station (Exit E), and the exhibition complex bus stops. It operates daily from 11:00 to 16:00, with departures every 15 minutes.
四、Baiyun Airport (For buyers traveling directly from the airport to the exhibition complex)
(一) Airport Express Bus
The fare is 35 RMB per trip. At the exhibition complex, the boarding point is located at the intersection of Zhanchang Middle Road and Zhanchang South Road. At the airport, boarding points are located at Gate 11 of Zone B and the T2 West Passenger Terminal (with a stop at T3). Service from the airport to the exhibition complex runs from 9:00 to 16:00, and from the exhibition complex to the airport from 11:00 to 18:00. Buses depart every 30–45 minutes during off-peak hours, while during peak periods, departures are scheduled based on passenger volume.
(二) Metro
Take Line 3 to Kecun Station, then transfer to Line 8. The total travel time is approximately 1.5 hours.
(三) Intercity Rail
The Guangzhou East Ring Intercity Railway offers a direct connection from the airport to Pazhou with no transfers required. Payment options include:
（1）Physical Yangcheng Tong card.
（2）”Intercity Ride Code” via the Guangzhou Metro app.
（3）Ticket purchase via the 12306 mini-program.
（4）Self-service kiosks at the station or tickets purchased at staffed counters.
五、Driving and Taxis: Plan Ahead for Peak Departure Times
（一）Traffic Control: Access to Exhibition Areas A, B, C, and D is restricted to authorized vehicles only. During peak departure hours—especially between 16:00 and 19:00—roads surrounding the venue will be congested, and temporary traffic controls may be implemented on certain sections.
（二）Taxis and Ride-Hailing Services
“Drop-off and Pick-up Only”: Temporary pick-up/drop-off points are located at Gates 5, 6, and 10. Vehicles are permitted only for immediate boarding or alighting.
（1）Taxis: From 15:00 to 18:30, taxis will be available at Passage 2 on Huizhan Zhong Road, and in the right-hand lanes (lanes 1 and 2) heading south on Zhanchang Xi Road.
（2）Ride-Hailing Services: During the peak departure period (16:00–19:00), please head to designated pick-up zones near the Canton Fair Hall, Pazhou Avenue East, Huizhan Nan 2nd Road, or Huizhan Nan 3rd Road.
For Halls 1, 2, 6, and 7 (Area A) or Area D: Set your location to “Canton Fair Complex Gate 6.”
For Halls 4, 5, and 8 (Area A) or Area B: Set your location to “Canton Fair Complex Gate 5.”
（3）During peak departure hours, it is recommended to confirm the pick-up point with your driver in advance. Avoid setting your pick-up location at the main entrance of the exhibition complex, as this may result in drivers being unable to accept your request or lead to long wait times. （三）Parking: There are 14,969 parking spaces in the vicinity of the exhibition complex. You can check real-time availability via the “Guangzhou Parking” WeChat mini-program. Parking spaces within the complex are reserved exclusively for authorized vehicles.
六、Travel Recommendations
（一）The metro is the preferred mode of transport; please avoid areas prone to traffic congestion, such as Xingang East Road and Yuejiang Middle Road.
（二）When departing, try to avoid the peak hours of 16:30–19:00, or book a ride-hailing service in advance.
（三）You may use international bank cards directly for metro travel to simplify the payment process.
（四）For group arrangements, please confirm pick-up points for chartered buses, hotel shuttles, or ride-hailing services in advance to avoid last-minute route changes.
（五）Payment methods for metro and bus services
（1）Alipay or WeChat Pay.
